Apple has been delaying the launch of its large screen tablet for long now. The 13 inch Apple tablet is now expected to be launched soon, while this tablet is reported to be called as Apple iPad Plus instead of iPad Pro or iPad Air Plus, following the trend of iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. As revealed by Gizmochina, the iPad Plus will sport a 12.9 inch display with 2K resolution, while the striking feature of this device is its sleek design and light weight. The device will reportedly be 7 mm thin and it will weigh less than 700 grams. The tablet will further pack massive 11000 mAh battery which is larger than the 7340 mAh battey of Apple iPad Air 2. It is also speculated to support third party protective keyboard cases.

The upcoming iPad Plus is comparable to iPad 2, which is 1.5 GHz Triple-core processor with 2 GB of RAM and runs on iOS 8.1 operating system. Air 2 features a 9.7 inch LED-backlit IPS LCD, Capacitive touchscreen display with 1536 x 2048 pixels resolution and 264 ppi pixel density.
Based on storage, iPad Air 2 comes in three variants 16/64/128 GB. This slate sports an 8 mega pixel rear camera with geo-tagging, touch focus, face/smile detection and HDR (photo/panorama) features while there is also a 1.3 mega pixel front facing camera. The dimensions of this device are 240 x 169.5 x 6.1 mm while it weighs 437 grams.
Release Date
