LG has launched its entry level LG Ice Cream Smart flip phone in Korea. The highlight of this device is that it features KakaoTalk physical buttons just like the Wine smart phone which was last year in 2014. The Ice Cream Smart phone is powered by 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor coupled with 1 GB of RAM. It runs on Android 4.4 KitKat operating system and features 3.5 inch HVGA display with 480 x 320 pixels resolution. For storage purpose, it houses 8 GB of internal storage which is expandable via microSD card. On imaging front, it sports an impressive 8 mega pixel rear camera and 0.3 mega pixel front facing camera. The phone packs a 1400 mAh battery while it includes 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and USB as connectivity option. LG Ice Cream Smart flip phone measures and will be available in Pink and Mint color options. The phone measures 118.6 x 59.4 x 16.9 mm and weighs 138 grams.

LG has also revealed its another device LG G Flex 2 smartphone which is due to go on sale in South Korea starting from 30th January 2015. The device is Android powered and runs on latest Android Lollipop 5.0 operating system. It is powered by 64-bit Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor coupled with 2 GB RAM and Adreno 430 GPU. It features a 5.5-inch full-HD curved P-OLED display with resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and 403 ppi pixel density.
The device further sports a 13 mega pixel primary camera with dual-LED two-tone flash, optical image stabilisation (OIS+) and laser-guided auto focus. It also sports a 2.1 mega pixel secondary camera and will be available in two variants- 16 GB and 32 GB, both expandable via microSD card. It packs a powerful 3000 mAh battery featuring Fast Charge technology.
Price and Availability
The LG Ice Cream Smart flip phone will be available exclusively via telecom operator LG U+ starting from 30th January 2015 in Korea.
