Huawei has expanded its smartphone portfolio with the launch of Huawei Y6 Pro. It has been silently listed on company’s official website. The Y6 Pro is the international variant of Enjoy 5, which was launched in China in 2015.
The talking point of the phone is its mammoth 4000mAh battery which is claimed to deliver up to 39 hours of talk time. It also promises up to 24 hours of standby time with just 10 percent of battery with the Smart Power Saving mode turned on.
Under the hood, it is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6735P processor clocked at 1.3GHz paired with Mali-T720 GPU and 2GB of RAM. Running Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system wrapped under Emotion UI 3.1 Lite, it features a 5-inch HD display with resolution of 1280×720 pixels. It is however not known, whether the phone supports expandable storage via microSD card or not.
On imaging front, it sports a 13 mega pixel auto focus rear camera with LED flash and a 5 mega pixel front facing camera. The handset measures 143.1×71.8×9.7 mm, weighs 160 grams and will be available in white, gold and grey color variants. On aesthetics front, it features a metal frame and flaunts its water ripple design with distinctive texture on the rear.

There is no word on pricing and availability of the Huawei Y6 Pro as of now. We expect the company to make an official announcement in the coming days.
Looking at the spec-sheet, the Y6 Pro seems to be a mid-ranged smartphone with decent innards. It remains to be seen how the company prices the device for different markets across the globe.
